SAVE THE DATE: March 25-30, 2025!
We’re excited to share some significant news about the future of TENWEST. As we approach a decade of fostering innovation and community in Tucson, we've made a pivotal decision: TENWEST is moving to the spring! Starting in 2025, our festival will no longer take place in the fall and will not take place at all in 2024. This change isn’t just about a new date (March 25-30, 2025); it’s a whole new vision for what TENWEST can become.
On the first day of TENWEST 2023, we started strong with the StreetFest! Alongside the many amazing vendors, artists, and performers throughout the day, we were able to create a lasting impact with our TENWEST street painting initiative in partnership with Living Streets Alliance and Speedy Striping Inc. If you missed it, our community came together to paint curb extensions on the corner of 7th Street and 5th Avenue in Downtown Tucson. Dedicated painters stayed throughout the whole project, others came, painted a square and went on to enjoy the rest of the StreetFest and watching the progress throughout the day was really magical. There was a lot of messy hands covered in brightly colored paint, but a lot of smiles and laughs to good music too. Walking by months later, the streets still feels energetic and friendly just like the day we painted. Plus, the street is exactly as bright as the day it was painted, looking fresh as ever and serving to make the now much busier intersection, safe for all to enjoy!
If you remember seeing the podcasting set up in the main lobby of the convention center, we're excited to announce that the TENWEST podcast, TENWEST Talks is now live! We'll be posting interviews every Thursday with some of our amazing speakers, recorded keynotes, and more. The best news? We already have episodes for you to binge! Check us out on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
